Continue reading »]]> It’s been a few months since my last update, we have been fixing roads, fixing trails, and unfortunately enough fixing our 6 month old trailer! One of the welds snapped on the axle and the whole brake was spinning with the rim! Not good!!! This will be the last time we buy a trailer with lippert axles, because there was barely any grease, it broke down already, and also there was 2 washers on one axle and 1 washer on the other 3!!! They must not have no quality control, keep this in mind when buying your next trailer!!! //end rant attached is a picture of the part that’s supposed to be welded to the axle but the welds didn’t even penetrate!!!

Continue reading »]]> Just got back for a nice ride today, surprisingly trails here are still in really good shape, actually, way better then we figured they would be. Some thin spots and little rocks on the side trails, but still worth getting out there and riding! About 5 miles in to the trip we got stopped by the VT State Police for a safety check, our sleds passed with flying colors and the officer was very nice, quick, and we were right back to riding… Thank you groomers for keeping the trails in such good shape and thank you VT State police for making sure people are riding safe!

Continue reading »]]> Pittsfield, VT and Chittenden, VT – Today was a GREAT day for riding, temps in the 40′s, trails were very well groomed, only problem was some rocks were starting to come through, and water bars were starting to flow water again, overall I would say today was the best day of riding so far, but by Monday, I do believe the trails will be trashed again… If you get a chance to go out tomorrow, GO EARLY! Because the next few days are above freezing and snow is starting to melt! Watch for water bars and RIDE SAFE!
